Falcon 9 Static Fire Accident for AMOS-6 Mission

A SpaceX Falcon 9 that was to launch the AMOS-6 communications satellite into orbit has suffered a catastrophic failure moments before a planned static fire of it’s nine first stage engines. Video filmed by USLaunchReport.com shows an explosion beginning from the second stage of the rocket destroying the entire vehicle before the AMOS-6 in the payload fairing falls from the erector arms and explodes on impact.

This would have been the 29th Falcon 9 launch and 9th overall of a busy 2016, with the rest of this years manifest looking in doubt.
