New Website Coming - 4th June 2018

It will be 7 years on March 13th since we launched SpaceVids back in 2011 and 5 years since the launch of the website - SpaceVIds.tv. Since then the website has outgrown the Space sector and is in dire need of an upgrade. To mark the 5th anniversary we will be launching a brand new stunning website on April 2nd June 4th 2018, The new website will have all of the same videos along with historical data in a fully responsive view.


We have pushed launch back into June by a month to allow us to ensure the historical videos are all imported properly.

Groundbreaking Ceremony for Space Shuttle Atlantis’ Permanent Display


NASA’s Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex in Florida hosted a groundbreaking ceremony on Jan. 18 at the site of shuttle Atlantis’ future home. The facility where Atlantis will be displayed will provide guests with the opportunity to view Atlantis up close and will tell the story of Atlantis’ and 30-years of Space Shuttle Program missions through a variety of hands-on, interactive exhibits.

Speakers participating in the ceremony included Janet Petro, Kennedy Space Center deputy director; Bill Moore, chief operating officer, Delaware North Parks and Resorts, Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex; Jeremy Jacobs, chairman and chief executive officer, Delaware North Companies; Chris Ferguson, commander Atlantis’ final mission, STS-135, and the Honorable Jennifer Carroll, Lt. Gov. of the state Florida. The facility is expected to open in the summer of 2013.
