Historic Reflight Rocket Launch of Falcon 9 with SES-10

SpaceX has made history today by successfully launching a Falcon 9 rocket for the second time! The previously flown first stage with brand new second stage powered the SES-10 communications satellite into a geosynchronous orbit from Kennedy Space Center’s Pad 39A. Liftoff took place at 22:27 UTC, March 30th 2017.

The first stage previously flew on the Dragon CRS-8 mission back on April 8th 2016. After launch this evening the first stage once again returned to Earth – successfully landing on the ocean barge ‘Of Course I Still Love You’.
