New Website Coming - 4th June 2018

It will be 7 years on March 13th since we launched SpaceVids back in 2011 and 5 years since the launch of the website - SpaceVIds.tv. Since then the website has outgrown the Space sector and is in dire need of an upgrade. To mark the 5th anniversary we will be launching a brand new stunning website on April 2nd June 4th 2018, The new website will have all of the same videos along with historical data in a fully responsive view.


We have pushed launch back into June by a month to allow us to ensure the historical videos are all imported properly.

Launch of Ariane 5 Rocket carrying Intelsat 30 & ARSAT-1 Into Orbit


A European Ariane 5 rocket has successfully launched from Kourou in French Guiana tonight, October 16th 2014 at 21:43 UTC. The rocket carried the American Intelsat 30 satellite and the Argentinean ARSAT-1 satellite.

Intelsat 30 will be positioned at 95 degrees west with 10 C- and 72 Ku-band transponders for direct to home television for Latin America.

ARSAT-1 will be positioned at 71.8 degrees west and supply Argentina, Chile, Uruguay, Paraguay, and Bolivia with television, phone and data services via 24 Ku-band transponders.
