New Website Coming - 4th June 2018

It will be 7 years on March 13th since we launched SpaceVids back in 2011 and 5 years since the launch of the website - SpaceVIds.tv. Since then the website has outgrown the Space sector and is in dire need of an upgrade. To mark the 5th anniversary we will be launching a brand new stunning website on April 2nd June 4th 2018, The new website will have all of the same videos along with historical data in a fully responsive view.


We have pushed launch back into June by a month to allow us to ensure the historical videos are all imported properly.

Launch of Eutelsat 25B & GSAT-7 on Ariane 5 Rocket (VA-215)


Europe’s Heavy Launch Rocket, the Ariane 5, successfully launched today, August 29th 2013 at 20:30 UTC carrying the Eutelsat 25B and GSAT-7 satellites into orbit. This was the 4th launch of an Ariane 5 this year from Kourou in French Guiana.

Eutelsat 25B will position itself at 25.5 degrees East and provide broadcasting services for the Middle East, North Africa and Central Asia.

GSAT-7 will be positioned at 74 degrees East and provide direct-to-home broadcasting to India.
