Launch of Russian Progress MS-08 on Soyuz 2-1A Rocket

Roscosmos has successfully launched the unmanned Progress MS-08 spacecraft full of cargo for the International Space Station. The spacecraft lifted off from Baikonur’s Launch Pad 36 at 08:13 UTC on a Soyuz 2-1A rocket. The craft will dock to the ISS at 10:43 UTC this Thursday, the craft has  2450 kg of cargo and supplies onboard. Launch was previously scheduled for Sunday the 11th but an abort occurred in the final minute to launch.
