New Website Coming

It will be 7 years on March 13th since we launched SpaceVids back in 2011 and 5 years since the launch of the website - Since then the website has outgrown the Space sector and is in dire need of an upgrade. To mark the 5th anniversary we will be launching a brand new stunning website on April 2nd 2018, The new website will have all of the same videos along with historical data in a fully responsive view.

Launch of Vega Rocket on 2nd Flight with Proba-V

Arianespace launched the second flight of their new four stage launcher called Vega today, May 7th 2013 at 02:06 UTC from Kourou in French Guiana.

The second flight placed into orbit the Proba-V for the European Space Agency, Proba-V will map land cover as well as vegetation growth over the entire planet. Also onboard is an optical observation spacecraft for Vietnam called VNREDSat-1A. The third and final payload onboard is the ESTCube-1 satellite, Estonia’s first satellite.
